May 19-21, 2023: Our laboratory actively supported and participated in the 4th National Intelligent Fluid Mechanics Seminar in 2023 held at the Exchange Center of Westlake University in Hangzhou. Guided by Prof. Fan, conference guests and attendees visited our laboratory and acknowledged our valuable work.

February 01, 2021: Intelligent and Bio-inspired Mechanics Seminar has quickly gained interest in the fluid mechanics research group around world, and it is reported in the Queen's University News. Link.
December 04, 2020: Dixia was invited to give a talk at Navy Surface Warfare Center, Carderrock Division, entitled "Efficient Experimentation in the Intelligent Towing Tank and Reinforcement Learning for Active Flow Control".
December 01, 2020: Dixia joined Ingenuity Labs as one of the faculty members.
November 20, 2020: Dixia was invited to give a talk at Ingenuity Labs, entitled "Automated Science and Intelligent Bio-Inspired Design for Next-Gen Marine and Aerospace Fluid Applications".
November 16, 2020: The annual DigiMaR Consortium progress meeting was held virtually this year. Together with Dr. Sam Rudy, Dixia gave a talk on "Physics Informed Intelligent Hydrodynamic Database Construction".
November 02, 2020: Dixia was invited to give a talk at MIT Undergraduate Ocean Exploration event. The talk was entitled "Learning from nature, from swimming fish to flying bird".
